i just wanted to point out some of the things we talked about today just in case you need a reference. after adam and i left, we were thinking of doing two 8 ft ceilings{loft and the area beneath} to make the overall height 16 ft. instead of 18 ft. what do you think about that?
- simple roof angles, one slant roof on the long side
- storage moved to first floor next to the garage{which is also moved}
- car port over the garage
- humble, belongs in the environment
- kitchen on first floor next to big windows
- window connecting on sides{like the pic in the book}
- small fireplace in sitting area
- tiny loft with bed and bunk beds, and a sm closet.
- minimal
- larger workspace - at least one car garage{maybe a little bigger}
- large storage space on first floor for paintings
- windows and/or sky light in work area{needs lots of lighting}
- skylight in bathroom?
- garage opening facing the road
- two 8 ft ceilings{16 ft total} instead of 9 ft and 9 ft
- an emphasis on really utilizing our space well
i think that's it. that's for everything Wayne, we are so lucky to have such a talented architect to work with.
